About Us
The club was formed more than 25 years ago. The name is based on its location at the school on Cross O’Cliff Hill, Lincoln. The school itself has changed names over the years, and now calls itself The Priory Lincoln School of Science and Technology (LSST for short). Until 2013 the club used the old sports hall, with four courts and fairly cramped seating arrangements. From January 2013 the club has moved to the new sports hall, situated 200 metres from the old hall. This new hall, part of a £7million development at the school, has extra space around and above the courts, rubberised flooring, brighter lighting and six badminton courts. The club switched from plastic shuttles to feather shuttles in 2009, with a subsequent increase in the quality of game play.

The club now uses Yonex AS30 feather shuttles during club nights as well as in competitive matches. A number of club players have represented Lincolnshire at various age levels. One ex-member Harley Towler is currently in the England National set-up. The numbers of club members has varied over the years as players have come and gone. From 2013 onwards six active courts during the main playing season ensures no player has to sit off for long. The club puts teams into the Newark and District Badminton League and has had much success over the years. It's illustrious achievements can be seen further on down this page in the Club Honours section.
